How does it work?

During the whitening process, the active ingredient in the gel, Carbamide Peroxide, is broken down to a molecular level and oxygen enters the tooth enamel through tiny holes, similiar to the pours in your skin, (thats how the stains get there in the first place) The Carbamide Peroxide oxygen bubbles then bleach embedded discoloured substances (stains). The structure of the tooth is not changed; only the tooth enamel becomes a lighter and whiter shade. the whiteness is from Fillings, crowns, bridges and bondings, etc. are not affected.

The Clinical Pharmacology Classification of Carbamide Peroxide states that there are "No significant interactions", although some teeth sensitivity or minor gum irritation may be experienced, which normally subsides after completion of treatment.
Your teeth may be more sensative to hot and cold ect during this process, its best to use your carbamide peroxide gel and bleaching tray  before you sleep and use a good anti sensative teeth toothpaste

To be sure, allways check with your denist first to ensure your teeth and gums are healthy
